WHY THALES?

Thales of Miletus was an ancient pre-Socratic Greek philosopher, regarded as the first to explain the world using natural philosophy. He engaged in mathematics, science, and deductive reasoning and was also an engineer. Thales theorized that all of nature is based on the existence of water. Today, NASA astrobiologists state that all living beings require water.
