Jonathan Leuchs – Managing Partner, Founder

I created Thales Analytics, foremost, because my love of math and understanding of psychological desire for experiences and things (financial transactions!) are best served helping analyze companies’ data, finances, and market opportunities.

Just as I strive to excel in business, I want to help others who have this same goal.

I enjoy getting to know leaders, hearing their stories and understanding their visions in order to fully define problems they face and goals they strive to achieve. My clients’ needs and expectations drive all of my own business decisions.

When not helping clients and working on my business, I am coaching youth lacrosse, swimming, surfing, or practicing Brazilian jiu jitsu.  I live in a quaint Rhode Island town with my fiancé Daniela (7/3/2025!) and three “step-ees”, thirty minutes from an isolated, little-known, epic surf spot (when the swell is just right, which is practically never). I love to travel and hear stories!

I lived and volunteered in Quito, Ecuador for two years right out college (climbing mountains and becoming fluent in Spanish), which was highly formative of my professional path. I’m fascinated by the notions of equality and incentives.

I attended Boston College for a bachelors in English and philosophy and UC – San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy for a Masters in International Relations. The two institutions could not be any more different, and I loved both for the experiences and education they provided.

Given my background and credentials, I also serve a select few clients as a private wealth advisor. I hold a FINRA license and am pursuing Certified Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.
